Jacqueline Bordonaro,CCH, RSHom(NA), graduated from the Northern School of Homeopathic Medicine, Newcastle-Upon Tyne, England in 1985, having completed a 4-year course in Homeopathic Medicine.
She had a busy homeopathic practice in England until coming to the United States in 1989. During that time she studied with several homeopathic Masters including Jeremy Sherr, Rajan Sankaran, Sheilagh Creasy, George Vithoulkas and Roger Morrison.
In the USA she is associated with the School of Homeopathy, New York where she both mentors and supervises students.
Jacqueline presently practices classical homeopathic medicine at All That Matters in Wakefield, RI.
The initial visit to Jacqueline for a homeopathic interview lasts up to two hours, when she will “take your case.” This means that you will give her a detailed account of how your dis-ease affects you, mentally, emotionally and physically, as homeopathy is an holistic medicine, meaning that it treats the whole person, with all of their dis-ease symptoms, and not just diseases.
Jacqueline will ask questions to elicit a complete picture of you, with your symptoms, and then study the homeopathic materia medica to find the remedy which matches your symptoms. This remedy choice is based on a scientific law known as the Law of Similars, which states that what can cause symptoms in a healthy person can cure similar symptoms in a sick person, or simply put “like cures like.”
The remedy is in the form of tiny white sugar pills and a single dose is given. The body will respond to this over the next month when a follow-up appointment will be given, which will take approximately 30 minutes, to assess the action of the remedy.
Good homeopathy will not just drive away or suppress the symptoms, but will help the person to deal with the cause of the illness and restore health.
Homeopaths aim to help their clients achieve freedom from limitations in their lives and reach a level of health where they are no longer dependent on any medicine or therapy.
