I have been studying and working with homeopathy since 1998. As an undergraduate in Veterinary Medicine, I developed research in the field of high dilutions in cancer and degeneration models, publishing my work in the Homeopathy Journal in England. I graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 (Brazil) and then moved to England, where I graduated as a Homeopath in 2005 from Homeopathic Professionals Teaching Group (HPTG). Along the years I practiced homeopathy in different areas (research, veterinary and human practice) and in different location (Brazil, England and USA). I am currently practicing in Columbus, IN, and working to bring awareness about homeopathy to local people around the state.
Ilana is a graduate of the Teleosis Homeopathic Collaborative in Boston, MA. Prior to attending Teleosis, she studied at the Hudson Valley School of Classical Homeopathy in New Paltz, NY and before that, on her own since 1994. She has guided women during pregnancy, childbirth and menopause to adjust irregularities and ease transitions.
She has successfully treated people of all ages for a wide range of conditions, some of which include: chronic ear infections, allergies, migraines, mononucleosis, skin disorders, behavioral issues and coping with grief and trauma. Ilana also has experience treating household pets. She works with both acute and chronic cases employing tissue salts, flower essences and a wide range of homeopathic remedies to heal and relieve. Ilana graduated from Barnard College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She currently resides in Rockland County, New York with her husband, four children and two dogs.
I graduated from Northwestern Academy Of Homeopathy in 2002 and completed the C.H.C certification in 2010. My journey to becoming a homeopath began at the age of 4. My sister got encephalitis. As my parents brought her to the hospital, my brother and I stayed with some kindly neighbors. As I stood in the entry way of their home, I realized I wanted to be a doctor. But wait, what kind of doctor do I want to be? The doctor they were bringing my sister to was a doctor that helped after something was wrong. It’s too late now. Wouldn’t it be smarter to be a doctor who helps people to not get sick in the first place?
Homeopathy is that little 4 year old girl’s dream come true and a thousand times over that!
There is no healing like a homeopathic healing!
Carol Moy, CCH is the heart and soul of Mind Body Homeopathic Health, LLC. She is nationally certified as a classical homeopath by the Council for Homeopathic Certification. She also holds Practitioner and Advanced Diplomas in Homeopathy from The School of Homeopathy. The school has a highly respected training program in classical homeopathy and is internationally recognized.
Prior to homeopathy, she studied physics and electrical engineering, having earned degrees from Vassar College, Dartmouth College and Cornell University. Her first career was as an electrical engineer at high tech giants, Lucent Technologies and Tyco Electronics. Her interest in homeopathy was prompted by the changes she saw in herself and her family after starting homeopathic treatment for themselves. After much soul-searching, she decided to leave her career in the high-tech world and follow a path that is closer to her heart. She has been practicing homeopathy since 2006.
Carol Moy has learned to view illness as a challenge and a pathway to finding the underlying disturbance. Having spent years in electrical engineering learning to make things work, she knows that diligence and persistent pursuit usually leads to finding the problem area and being able to fix it. She finds homeopathy particularly exciting because of the physics that makes it work. (You probably have to have to have a scientific background to really appreciate how scientifically advanced this field is!) The engineer in her likes to think of homeopathy this way: In the same way that your cell phone uses a matched filter to sift through the sea of transmissions to find information destined just for your phone, taking a homeopathic remedy is like setting up a matched filter in your body to get you the specific information that you need to heal!
She uses a variety of techniques to arrive at a remedy recommendation, from those of the old homeopathic masters to modern day ‘sensation based prescribing’. She also incorporates some knowledge of other disciplines such as Traditional Chinese Medicine and reflexology to help understand the nature and location of the main disturbance in the body.
